It always happens when you make plans for your weekend, then something comes up...
Mum called this morning because she has been bargaining with Xavier, a very cool-sounding man with a thick accent (perhaps Brazilian?). Xavier is selling his barbecue online and my clever mother has been busy trying to better any other offers made on the small grilling machine. The only catch is that I must pick it up.
There's no problem of course, however my plans to visit my dear friends in Armidale have been put on hold.
I see a lot of 'positive' in this situation, because it will allow me to remain in Sydney and catch-up with some other friends who will be visting. Cue a scrumptious picnic in a city park tomorrow. I've already tested out one recipe this morning, before work and my, oh my! These little baked treats turned out perfectly! So perfect in fact, that I started munching before taking proper photos. This quick happy snap was captured on my iPhone, using instagram (what a fun application?!), did I mention I was already sitting at my desk at work when I took it? Munch! Munch! Munch!
Can you guess what it is?
I love to give things away, presents, food, my art, you name it and I am seriously considering a little competition on this blog, where correct answers will win something. Oh the possibilities! My imagination is running wild!
