48/52: Me Time

There's nothing selfish about taking a little bit of me time after a long week. Be kind to yourself, rest when you feel the first symptoms of exhaustion. Drink green smoothies and recline in the shade. You deserve it. x

    1. How sweet, Jodi. I needed it this weekend. Thankfully, my body has rebounded with renewed energy, my thoughts are clear and there are plans for summer travel in the works… We live a blessed life, hopefully our family will grow so we may share it with our future children. x

  2. It was a long, hard, emotional journey for Justin and I before Jarvis arrived. I often punished my body for failing me/us. I wish I had your way of thinking to nourish and relax instead.

    1. It's not always nourish, rest, relax, stretch and being kind to ourselves. Take this week for instance… Each night we've worked past midnight, awoken before 6AM and struggled through the days.
      I need a break. The weekend cannot come soon enough.
